1) How do I change plate sizes?
    Under step 1 you will see a box which has plate size written at the top. You will see two drop down bars which have "20.5inch by 4.5inch" these
    are the sizes of standard UK plates, too change simply click on drop down and select desired sizes and it will display on the plate builder
 
2) How do I select only rear or front plates and change quantity?
    In step one in the plate size box at the bottom you will see two small boxes with "show front number plate" and "show rear number plate", simply      
    un-tick the box of which ever plate you do not need. To increase the quantity of the plates simply put in how many you want into the qty boxes
    on the right hand side of the plate builder.
 
3) How do I add a border and change the colour of the border?
    In step one you will see a box which has got border size and colour written on the top of it. Click on the drop down bar which says "no border"
    you will be able to select the thickness of the border between 1-5mm, it will default to a black   border. 
    To select colours click on the small square black box, a colour chart will appear. On the colour bar you can scroll it up and down by clicking on the
    small arrows and then dragging it up and down to reach desired colour. Then on the left main colour box in the top right corner there is a small circle,
    click on it and drag it to desired shade of colour. Once happy click away from the box and plate builder will change border colour.
 
4) Will my plate display how I space it on the builder?
    Yes! However you space your characters that’s how it will display.
 
5) How do I select font and change colour?
    In step 2 you will see the first two boxes have "registration front" and "registration rear", enter your reg in the box with which ever spacing you
    desire, then click on the yellow tab "select font", on the right hand side you will see a box appear with over 40+ fonts, simply click on the desired font
    then the plate builder will display your chosen font.
    To select colours click on the small square black box, a colour chart will appear. On the colour bar you can scroll it up and down by clicking on the
    small arrows and then dragging it up and down to reach desired colour. Then on the left main colour box in the top right corner there is a small circle,
    click on it and drag it to desired shade of colour. Once happy click away from the box and plate builder will change font colour.
 
 
6)  How do I change font size?
    In step 2 you will see in the first two boxes you can input your reg. Below the text box you will see "change font size" with a + and - sign. The text
    you enter will always display in maximum size you then click on the - sign to reduce to desired size, if you want to increase the size again simply click
    the + sign.
 
7)  How do I position, change font and change colours of the slogans?
     To change font and colours on the slogans please look at step 5.
     To position the slogans you input your text in the text box just below you will see a drop down with "where?", Simply click it and choose
     desired location.
 
8)  How do I add badge backgrounds and change colours?
     In step 3 you will see the first two boxes labelled "use left badge" and "use right badge". If you want to add the badge background simply tick the 
     small boxes and they will default in a blue colour. 
     To select colours click on the small square black box, a colour chart will appear. On the colour bar you can scroll it up and down by clicking on the
     small arrows and then dragging it up and down to reach desired colour. Then on the left main colour box in the top right corner there is a small circle,
     click on it and drag it to desired shade of colour. Once happy click away from the box and plate builder will change badge colour.
 
9)  How do I add a image, then position and rotate it?
     In step 3 the third box titled "badges and backgrounds", you will see categories of the badges offered, click on the desired category you will
     see on the right hand side all the images offered. Once you have chosen the image you want double click on it and on the left hand side a black box
     will appear with your image, you will see a drop down menu "select position of this badge", click on it and select the position you want it, the plate
     builder will display the image, at the top you will see your image where it gives you option of removing it and a drop down with "rotation options".
     Click on this to select desired position of the image.
 
10) Ghosting Image?
     One of the position you can choose for a image to be displayed is "centre". Follow step 9 to see how to choose a image. Once you have selected
     the image at the top box you will see drop down menu "ghosting" click on it and change the contrast of how dark or light you want the image.
 
11) How do I add a background?
     In step 3, box 3 you will see the categories for different images, select backgrounds and simply double click on the image in the right hand side 
     box displaying images, the plate builder will display it for you.
 
12) How do I add my own image?
     In step 3 box 3 displayed as "badges and backgrounds", scroll to the bottom of the categories you will see a yellow tab "upload own image",
     click on this it will then open you personal folders. Click on your desired image it will then upload just bellow the step 123  tabs, once loaded
     double click on your image it will open up in a black box, click the drop down to select desired location, you can also rotate the image please
     follow step 9 for help. You can upload up to three of your own images in real time and display them at the same time!!!

13) Why is my topline text to the left hand side on a square plate?

  If your text is more to the left side on the top line make sure you have not left any spaces after the text you have typed in. 

14) Why does my uploaded image have a white background?
    
Alot of jpeg files have white backgrounds, so when you display your image on a colour background the white part shows. In photoshop or coral you can remove this white background and then upload it or just email your image to me and i will remove the background for you and email it back to you so you can upload it onto the plate builder.                                   

15) When will i receive my plates?
      We aim to dispatch your plates the same day the order is placed. You can expect to receive your plates in 2 - 3 working days, unless you choose our special delivery option which will arrive 1-2 working days.
